Funeral service for Jerry Dunn "J.D." Shaw age 84, of Frederick will be at 1:30 P.M., Monday, August 31, 2015, at the First Baptist Missionary Church with Rev. Lloyd Logan officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Shaw passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015, in Moore, Oklahoma. Jerry Dunn Shaw was born July 31, 1931, in Caldwell, Texas to James and Mary (Williams) Shaw. He attended school in Caldwell; J.D. worked as a farmer. He and Effie Stevenson were united in marriage. He later married Peggy Council October 15, 1972, in Frederick. She preceded him in death on April 29, 2003. He then married Mattie Miles on February 13, 2009 in Snyder. She preceded him on September 26, 2011. He was a member of the First Baptist Missionary Church where he served as a Deacon. He is survived by three daughters, Havana Walker and her husband Bernard of Moore, Oklahoma, Norma Caldwell of Killeen, Texas and Adean Anglin of Del City, Oklahoma; two sons, Don Shaw and his wife Connie of Vernon, Texas and Escoe Abram and his wife Faye of Clinton, Oklahoma; forty-four grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Lawrence, James and Jerry Shaw; five daughters, Cecilia McGee, Suerena Birdine, Marion Neal, Nina Devore and Delora Shaw; and a special God-daughter, Detra Logan.
