Funeral service for Jerry Lynn Rogers, Sr., age 54, of Frederick will be at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Tipton with Kolby Rogers and Rev. Paul Beam officiating. Burial will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Rogers passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at his home in Frederick.

Jerry Lynn Rogers was born on May 16, 1962 in Frederick to Donald Lewis and Lois Fern (Nunley) Rogers. He attended Frederick Public Schools and graduated from Frederick High School in 1980. He then served in the United States Air Force.  He had previously worked at Henniges Automotive.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Miller of the home; his mother, Lois Fern Rogers of Altus; three sons, Brandon Rogers of Prescott, Arizona, and Jerry L Rogers, II and Cody Rogers both of Frederick; one daughter, Krissy Rogers Shelton and her husband Joe of Frederick; two sisters, Cindy Wofford and her husband Charles and Debra Robbins all of Manitou; one sister-in-law, Kim Rogers of Lubbock, Texas; three grandchildren, Caidyn and Harley Shelton and Ariyane Rogers; a host of nieces, nephews and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lewis Rogers; his grandparents, Hardy and Florence Rogers, Carl and Pearl Nunley and Blanche Russell; one brother, Ronald Lee Rogers and several aunts and uncles.
