Funeral service for Jim Pat Wallis age 79, of Frederick will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Jim Pat passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Memorial Nursing Center in Frederick.

Jim Pat Wallis was born February 19, 1937, in Loveland, Oklahoma to R.E. and Bonnie Dee (Hatcher) Wallis. He attended Loveland Public School, graduating from Loveland High School. Jim Pat loved people! He enjoyed riding his bike, playing Chicken Foot Dominoes and Bingo and watching T.V. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his cousins, Opal Williams and her husband Weegie of Hobart, Tony Jackson and his wife Debra of Frederick, Melynna Hewitt and her husband James of Lindsay, Jan Jackson of Davidson, Gayle Wallis of Port Townsend, Washington, David Wallis and his wife Ann of Dixon, California, Mitzi Strain and her husband Weldon of Cross Plains, Texas, Lou Beth Hendrix and her husband Grady of Arlington, Texas, Linda Hatcher of Austin, Texas and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.E. and Bonnie Wallis; and his caretaker and guardian for many years, Wynnell Jackson.
