Funeral service for Juvetta Jo Fulbright, age 69, of Frederick will be at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Fulbright passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Memorial Hospital & Physician Group in Frederick. Juvetta Jo Cates Fulbright was born on May 6, 1946 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Montie, Jr. and Louise (Buford) Cates. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1962. On December 19, 1981, she was united to David Lee Fulbright in Frederick, Oklahoma. She continued her education at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma where she received her Registered Nursing Degree in 1989. She worked as an ER Trauma Registered Nurse for Reynolds Army Hospital at Fort Sill and later at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. She retired in 2007 after 20 years of service. Jo had formally served on the Oklahoma State Medical Board for several years. In her spare time, she loved to quilt, sew & travel. She enjoyed watching the Shortgrass Rangers Cowboy Action Shooting Club. Jo was active in her grandchildren's lives; she spent many hours watching them play basketball and show their livestock projects at the local fairs. She is survived by her husband David of the home; her mother, Louise Cates of Lawton, two sons, Leon Tugmon and his wife Terri and Tommy Tumon and his wife Christie all of Lawton; four grandchildren, Carlynn Finke, Reba Tugmon, Tyler Tugmon and Taylor Tugmon; and one great-granddaughter.
