Funeral service for Juan Vicente Ramos age 88, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2020, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Congregation Elder Jesse Salas officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Ramos passed away Wednesday morning, January 29, 2020, at his home in Frederick.

Juan Vicente Ramos was born April 5, 1931, in Edinburg, Texas to Cesilio and Romana (Rodriguez) Ramos. On January 2, 1950, he was united in marriage to Maria De La Luz in Edinburg, Texas. Juan was the provider for his family. He worked as a mechanic and did construction work for many years. Juan enjoyed working outside and staying busy; he never set still. He loved listening to music.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Maria Ramos of the home; two daughters, Ramona Wolfe and her husband Sammy of Davidson, Oklahoma and Isidra Mitchell of Frederick, Oklahoma; two sons, Lorenzo Llamas and his wife Laura of Mora, New Mexico and Feliciano Ramos of Frederick, Oklahoma; two brothers, Dan Ramos and his wife Tina of Petrolia, Texas and Mike Ramos and his wife Carmen of Pharr, Texas; one sister, Bertha Lopez of Caldwell, Idaho; nineteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and five sons, Francisco, Orlando, Juan, Jr., Cesilio and Jose Ramos.
