Celebration of Life for Keaton Scott Dugan, age 34, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 W. Gladstone Avenue, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Rev. Brent Morey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Keaton passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, in Oklahoma City.

Keaton Scott Dugan was born August 18, 1988, in Houston, Texas to Don Scott and Tana Ranea (Bagwell) Dugan.  He attended Southlake Carroll High School, graduating with the Class of 2007.  He later attended Tarrant County Community College.  He was employed at Lewisville Volkswagen in Lewisville, Texas for several years, prior to working for Northwest Heavy Haul in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and TMS Heavy Haul in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Keaton loved singing, playing the guitar, and writing songs.  One of the greatest moments in his life was going to Nashville and sitting in the studio and jamming with Walker Hayes.  He loved performing and played at several venues around Grapevine, Texas.  Throughout his life, he played football, soccer, and baseball.  He played on the Southlake Carroll High School 2006 State Championship Team where he received his state ring. Keaton was thrifty and saved his money to purchase his 2009 Blue Ford F150.  He kept it immaculate; it was his "pride and joy" and has driven it all these years.  He was very devoted to his best friends, Landon and Josh, since early grade school and they have remained lifelong friends.  Keaton was a wonderful and fun uncle to Kali and Britten, whom he adored. Kali held a special place in his heart, and she was a very big part of his life. Keaton always looked up to his two big brothers, Branden and Trent.  They share many fond memories growing up over the years.

In his career, he went from working in the shop to becoming a salesman in the automotive industry.  In the super heavy haul industry, Keaton worked his way up to become the Lead Tillerman in control of the movement of extremely large loads over the highways across the United States.  All who worked with him valued his teamwork and dedication and knew he would be there for them when things were difficult. He was a member of the Lonesome Dove Baptist Church in Southlake, Texas

He is survived by his mother, Tana (Bagwell) Dugan of Oklahoma City, OK; his father, Don Dugan of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Branden Ballard of Oklahoma City, OK, and Trenton Ballard and his wife MaLaura of Edmond, OK;  his aunts and uncles, Kim Hodges and her husband Andy of Woodward, OK, Debra Nicholas of San Antonio, TX, Dale Dugan of Frederick, OK, and Dean Dugan of New Braunfels, TX; his cousins, Braden Hodges and his wife Kaci, Jada Grunewald and her husband Daxton, Jaci Gray and her husband Levi, Darla Woodruff and her husband Chris, Dale Dugan, Jr., and Jonathan Nicholas; one nephew, Britten Ballard; one niece, Kali Ballard; and a host of other family members and many friends, as well as his dog, Gunner.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Louis Dugan; paternal grandmother, Theresa Dugan Livingston; maternal grandfather, Benny Bagwell; maternal grandmother, Janice Pool; and maternal great-grandmother, Beatrice Huff.
