Funeral service for Kenneth E. Gregory age 83, of Cache, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick with Eric Sharum officiating.
Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.
Mr. Gregory passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017, in a Lawton health care center.
Kenneth Eugene Gregory was born January 27, 1933, in Marianna, Arkansas to Roscoe Ozell and Delia Mildred (King) Gregory.
He attended school in Marianna, Arkansas and graduated from T.A. Futrell High School on May 25, 1951.
He later attended Cameron College in Lawton, Oklahoma.
He entered the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.
On November 30, 1973, he and Earline Todd were united in marriage on November 30, 1973, at Tipton, Oklahoma.
On February 28, 1979, Kenneth retired from the military at the rank of Sergeant Major.
He worked for civil service at Fort Sill for Post Engineers for over ten years. Kenneth and Earline later owned and operated Gregory Heating and Air Conditioning in Cache, retiring in 2013.
He was a faithful member of the University Church of Christ in Lawton.
He is survived by his wife, Earline Gregory of the home; three daughters, Mary Wooley and her husband Mark of Marlow, Oklahoma, Debbie Moyer of West Memphis, Arkansas and Tanya Gregory of Stuttgart, Arkansas; five brothers, Roscoe "Buddy" Gregory, Jr. and his wife Fran of Sparks, Nevada, Wayne Gregory of Sparks, Nevada, Don Gregory and his wife Jeanne of Reno, Nevada, Dan Gregory and his wife Sara of Memphis, Tennessee and Edward Gregory of Forrest City, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Delia Gregory; and one daughter, Kendra Gregory.
