Funeral service for Kenneth Allen Pool, age, 89, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 W. Gladstone Avenue, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Michael Haverland officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Pool passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Kenneth Allen Pool was born January 24, 1933, in Hamilton, Texas to John C. and Bessie (Smart) Pool. He attended Hollister Public School, graduating from Hollister High School in 1951. He then attended Cameron College in Lawton, Oklahoma, and Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas. In February of 1958, he was united in marriage to Barbara Sue McWaters in Vernon, Texas. To this union was born a son, Ken Allen Pool. On July 17, 1989, he and Janice (Huff) Bagwell were united in marriage in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were married for 28 years until the death of Janice on November 20, 2017. Kenneth was a farmer and rancher all of his life, he loved the land, the livestock, and the lifestyle. He was a member of the 13th & Josephine Church of Christ in Frederick. Throughout his life, he was President of the Frederick Riding Club, President of the Grand National Horseman Association, Board Member of Production Credit Association for several years, and served on the Frederick School Board.

He is survived by two daughters, Tana Dugan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kim Hodges and her husband Andy of Woodward, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Branden Ballard, Trenton Ballard and his wife MaLaura, Keaton Dugan, Braden Hodges and his wife Kaci, Jada Grunewald and her husband Daxton, and Jaci Gray and her husband Levi; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Pool of Odessa, Texas and Maxine Lipe of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Huff and wife Celia of Arlington, Texas and Ronnie Huff and wife Alice of Cibolo, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Pool; his wife, Janice Pool; one son, Ken Allen Pool; two brothers, William Pool, Sr. and J.C. Pool; one brother-in-law, Richard Lipe and four nephews, Bobby Glenn Pool, Johnny Pool, Tom Pool, and Billy Pool.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Tipton Children's Home in memory of Kenneth and Janice Pool.
