On May 27, 1950, she was united in marriage to N.C. Nill at her parents' home in Frederick. After their wedding, they lived in Frederick until 1960 and then moved to the Loveland Community where they farmed and ranched. She then taught Art and English in the Frederick Public system for nearly 40 years. In 2007, she and N.C. returned to Frederick. Lenore was a member of the Loveland Methodist Church. Lenore loved to dance. She was a member of the Wagon Wheeler Square Dance Club in Frederick and she and N.C. traveled to dances all over Oklahoma, and to Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. They loved to travel and once made a trip literally across the country. They drove from Oklahoma to Alaska, and then drove from Alaska to Florida, staying in their van all along the way. The trip took over a month and they loved telling stories about it.
