Funeral service for Leticia Avila Ayala age 61, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Morgan officiating. Ms. Ayala passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Leticia Avila-Ayala was born September 27, 1960, in Juarez, Mexico to Benjamin Avila-Vazquez and Julia Ayala-Hurtado. Leticia graduated high school in 1977 in Juarez, Mexico. After graduation she continued her education in Mexico at a local community college receiving two degrees in accounting and nursing. She worked at Henniges as a line trimmer for twelve years. Leticia was a loving and caring woman who worked hard and was always giving her time to others. You could always find Leticia in the kitchen cooking for others. She was very outgoing and loved to dance and listen to music. She loved cooking and working outside in her garden. Leticia will always be remembered by the love she had not only for her family but for others as well. She was especially proud of her Mexican heritage.
She is survived by one son, German Aguirre and his wife Shydae of Altus, Oklahoma; two daughters Leticia Rodriguez and her husband Carlos of Frederick, Oklahoma and Karla Cordero of Nebraska; one brother Benjamin Avila of Colorado; two sisters Teresa Ayala of Nebraska and Luz Maria Avila of Texas; eight grandchildren, Juan Cortez, Dillinger Tur, Antwuan Tur, Aubrey Aguirre, Carlos Rodriguez, Quintton Tur, Kayden Puentes, and Leilani Rodriquez; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Viewing will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021, and Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Mask and social distancing are suggested at the funeral home. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
