Graveside services for Linda Kay Locklin age 71 of Frederick will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with David Ridenour officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Locklin passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at her home. Linda Kay Wood Locklin was born March 25, 1944, in Bell, California to Worth and Foye (Hass) Wood. She attended Poteau High School graduating with the Class of 1962. She worked for many years as a billing clerk for Intergis Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She later worked as a pedigree research analyst in the Thoroughbred Horse Industry. On July 12, 1977, she and Darrell Gene Locklin were united in marriage in Vernon, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2012. She was a member of the 13th & Josephine Church of Christ. She was survived by three brothers, Royce Wood and his wife Juanita of Gold Beach, Oregon, Don McDermott and his wife Dorothy of Sacramento, California and Junior Grubb and his wife Lyn of Anadarko, Oklahoma; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Locklin of Elk City, Oklahoma; two brothers-in-law, Larry Locklin of Elk City, Oklahoma and Gerald Locklin and his wife Linda of Daphne, Alabama; two step-daughters, Deanna Bullock and Keisti Milam; six grandchildren, Jared, Hunter, Dakota and Austin Bullock and Hannah and Hayden Milam; and three nephews, two nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.
