Funeral service for Linda L. Wilson, age 62, of Frederick will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Ms. Wilson passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Altus.

Linda Lou (Pickrell) Wilson was born on January 8, 1955 in Vernon, Texas to Jack Wilson and Betty Lou (Johnson) Pickrell. She attended Frederick Public School and graduated from Frederick High School with the Class of 1973. She was an avid reader and a true friend. She devoted herself to taking care of children, whether it be her son, her nephews or other people's children. Linda was a caregiver to her mother for many years and went above and beyond to help others even while she went without. She was a loyal carrier for the Lawton Constitution and had delivered newspapers for many years while working other jobs. She was later employed by Coy's Food and Jackson Funeral Home in Frederick. Linda had a dry sense of humor, a quick wit and an infectious laugh. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Frederick.

She is survived by one son; Kirk Wilson and his wife Amanda of Edmond, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Caylen Wilson; one brother, Larry Pickrell and his wife Carmen of Frederick; Special Friends, Debbie North of Yukon, Oklahoma and Bobby and Georgia Jackson of Frederick; and many cousins, nephews, other family members and many friends.
