Obituary

Funeral service for Linnie Mae Stoll age 84, of Frederick, Oklahoma will at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.  Mrs. Stoll passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the Memorial Nursing Center in Frederick.

Linnie Mae (Tramel) Stoll was born September 11, 1935, in Boswell, Oklahoma to Oscar Dennis and Annie Mae (Bobb) Tramel.  She attended Hollister Public School, graduating from Hollister High School in 1954, where she was Salutatorian of her senior class.  On September 3, 1954, she and James Lyndle Stoll were united in marriage at the Methodist Church in Manitou, Oklahoma.  She worked at Kellwood's Manufacturing Plant in Frederick, and later worked at Betsy Bra Factory.  She and James were actively involved in the family dairy and farming business.

Linnie was an excellent cook and seamstress.  She was actively involved in her children's activities as they grew up.  She was a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren.  She was involved in PTA, where she served as secretary for many years.  Linnie was a caretaker to her parents and her in-laws and helped raise her nephews and nieces.  She was instrumental in coordinating the Stoll Family Reunions.  Linnie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Manitou, and later transferred her membership to the First United Methodist Church in Frederick.

She is survived by one son, Lyndle Stoll and his wife Debbie of Frederick, Oklahoma; one daughter, D. LuAnne Smith and her husband David of Geary, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Johnelle Lamar and her husband Darren, Jason Stoll, Brandon Adler and his fiancé  Crystal Flinn, Angelia Kenney and her husband John, and J.D. Smith and his girlfriend Hannah Moseley; eight great-grandchildren, Darra, Jaelie and Izzy Lamar, Cameron, Cadee and Chloye Adler, Zane Kenney, and Kayden Smith who is due in January; one brother, Tillman "Bud" Tramel and his companion Sharon Nelson; one brother-in-law, Eldon Thorp; one sister-in-law, Dixie Stoll; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ott and Annie Tramel; her husband, James Lyndle Stoll who preceded her in death on November 21, 2014; and one granddaughter, Marisha Smith.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Alzheimer's Research, in memory of Linnie Mae Stoll.

Mrs. Stoll may be viewed on Monday, August 10, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home and then on the day of the service.
