Graveside Service for former Frederick resident, Lucille Langston Wilson, age 97, of Plainview, Texas will be at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Inurnment will follow under the directions of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick, Oklahoma. Ms. Wilson passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019, in Plainview, Texas.

Lucille Langston was born on July 18, 1922, in Healdton, Oklahoma to Howard Ragland and Ruth (Streeter) Langston, their only child. She was four years old when the family moved to Frederick, Oklahoma where her father purchased a pharmacy, which was later known as Langston's Drug. Lucille attended Frederick Public Schools; she was active in the band and was selected as the Freshman Band Queen. Lucille graduated from Frederick High School and was the salutatorian of her graduating class. On August 4, 1940, she married Robert G. Wilson. They lived in Frederick until 1964, when they moved to Plainview, Texas. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Frederick. In Plainview, she was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Plains Art Association, and many bridge and social clubs. Lucille enjoyed painting, gardening, and playing bridge. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family and spending time with her grandkids and great grands.

She is survived by two daughters, Dana Russell and her husband, David, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Cindy Boudloche and her husband, Mike, of Corpus Christi, Texas; one son, Rob Wilson and his wife, Ceil, of Plainview, Texas; five grandchildren; Lisa Aynesworth and her husband, Chris, Sarah Vollbrecht, Chad Gibbs and his wife, Bea, Desi Pharis, and Robert C. Wilson; and twelve great grandchildren.
