Funeral service for Madeline Jean "Mattie" Geis, age 23, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, 201 East Grand in Frederick, with Rev. Carl Rudek officiating. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Miss Geis passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 as the result of a car accident near Devol, Oklahoma.
Madeline Jean Geis was born on March 13, 1995 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Mark Noble and Cynthia Jean (Bohannon) Geis.
Our sweet Mattie girl grew up in Chattanooga, Oklahoma and graduated from Chattanooga
High School in 2013. She went on to attend Oklahoma State University where she completed her Agriculture Business degree with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Mattie was currently working at Crop Production Services of Altus, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chattanooga.
Mattie thoroughly enjoyed life and made every second count. She could always light up a room with her bright smile, contagious laugh, and sparkling eyes. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, and her dog, Bryer. There was never a dull moment with Mattie around. She made the best of every situation and held a special place in everyone's heart. Mattie will be truly missed by so many.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Cindy Geis of the home; maternal grandparents, Ron and Judy Bohannon of Sulphur, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, Leroy and Ann Geis of Chattanooga, Oklahoma; one brother, Ryan Geis of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, one sister, Mallory Geis of Chattanooga, Oklahoma; three aunts, Gay Freeland and her husband Ron of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Dee James of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Beth Martin and her husband Jason of Frisco, Texas; a host of cousins and many friends

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Horace and Willa Jean Holloman, Woodrow and Jim L. Bohannon, Milton and Emma Geis and Martin and Nada Reid.
