Funeral service for Maria DeLaLuz Ramos, age 91, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Hefner officiating.  Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mrs. Ramos passed away on Sunday morning, January 17, 2021, at her home in Frederick.

Maria DeLaLuz Flores Ramos was born on April 22, 1929, in Saginaw, Michigan to Pascual and Epifania (Pena) Flores, she was one of five children. She met Juan Vicente Ramos in December 1949.  It was true love at first sight.  Just one month later, she and Juan Vincente Ramos were united in marriage on January 20, 1950 in Edinburg, Texas.  The two completed seventy years of marriage together, they had and raised nine children.  Maria became one of Jehovah's most loyal, faithful, and dedicated witnesses.  Being baptized a Jehovah's Witness in 1972.  She completed her assignment and mission in this worldly life, staying true and strong to Jehovah all her ninety-one years on this earth.

She is survived by two sons, Lorenzo Llamas of Mora, New Mexico and Feliciano Ramos of Frederick, Oklahoma; two daughters, Ramona Wolfe of Davidson, Oklahoma and Isidra Mitchell of Frederick, Oklahoma; twenty-nine grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; twenty-six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pascual and Epifania Pena Flores; her husband, Juan Ramos; five sons, Francisco Ramos, Orlando Ramos, Juan Ramos, Jr., Cesilio Ramos, and Jose Ramos.
