Funeral service for Marva Latrese Golden, age 35, of Lawton, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick with Pastor Derrick Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Ms. Golden passed away on August 28, 2019, at her home in Lawton.

Marva Latrese Golden was born on October 11, 1984, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Lawanda Carol Golden and Mack Howard Dow. She attended Eisenhower Public Schools and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 2001. She worked as a sales representative for over fifteen years for A.T. & T. in Lawton, Oklahoma. Marva was a loving mother; her son was her life! She was beautiful young lady and had a smile that could light up the world. She always looked out for others before she did herself. She wanted the best for her family and showed them genuine love. Marva was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Frederick.

She is survived by her son, Josiah Golden of the home; her father, Mack Dow of California; her sisters and brothers, Latoya Golden of Midland, Texas, Teddy Golden of Lawton, Oklahoma, Antwain Golden of Lawton, Oklahoma, Mack Dow, Jr. of Lawton, Oklahoma, Joshua Dow of Lawton, Oklahoma and Raven Dow of Lawton, Oklahoma; her nieces and nephews, Adevonte Johnson, Adonbreon Golden, Trerrianna Steward, Neianna Tryon and Sir Teddy Golden-Johnson; and a great-niece, Naylah Oglin.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lawanda Golden, and a daughter, Janiya Golden.
