Mary Jones, age 94, of Manitou, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder, Oklahoma. No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.

Mary Rozell (McGill) Jones was born June 4, 1929, in Sioux City, Iowa, to William and Minnie (Miller) McGill.  She attended and graduated high school in Ava, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Oral L. Jones, in Ava, Missouri.  He preceded her in death in 2018.  Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  After raising her family, Mary worked at Sears in Frederick for several years.

She is survived by two sons, Bob Jones and Betty Lady of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Mitch Jones and his wife Lorrie of Manitou, Oklahoma; one sister, Mabel Everett of Ava, Missouri; one granddaughter, Amanda Matthews and her husband Scott of Frederick, Oklahoma; four great-grandchildren, Zac Matthews, Alex Matthews, Aubrey Matthews, and Tyler Chumley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Minnie McGill; her husband, Oral Jones; seven brothers and sisters; and daughter-in-law, Janet Jones.
