Mary Jo Saunders, age 78, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Lawton, Oklahoma. There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home, of Frederick, Oklahoma.

She was born July 27, 1946, in Boswell, Oklahoma, to Alva Benton and Elsie Lorene (Smith) Harris. She moved to Lawton as a young girl and attended Lawton schools. She graduated from Lawton High School with the Class of 1964. She worked as a waitress and cook at Big Chef and Fisherman's Cove restaurants. She enjoyed bingo, dominoes, cards, and loved to do arts and crafts.

Survivors include one daughter, Jo Harrigan and husband Sean, of Frederick, Oklahoma; two sisters, Geraldine Rose (Harris) Cooper, of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Dianna Kay (Harris) Flynn and husband Bill, of Mulvane, Kansas; four grandchildren, Bryan Harrigan and wife Nichole,  of Texas, Stephen Saenz and wife Megan, of Duncan, Oklahoma, Amber Wright and husband Hollis, of Texas, and Callef Walker, of Frederick, Oklahoma; eleven great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Debra Milton Frederick, Oklahoma and Heather Cooper of Cache, Oklahoma, and many other family members.

In addition to her parents, Alva and Elsie Harris; she was preceded in death by three husbands, Jerry Lamb, B.J. Pace, Jr. and Denny Saunders; one son, Johnny Thomas Lamb; three brothers, George Dallas Harris, III, Dewey L. Harris, and Alva Jerry Harris; one sister and two brothers-in-law, Helen Fay (Harris) Wright and husband Larry, and Robert Cooper; and one niece, Wendy Provencher.
