Funeral service for Micah Lee Blankinship age 40, of Blanchard, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 W. Gladstone Avenue, Frederick with Rev. Art Barker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery South of Cooperton under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mr. Blankinship passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Micah Lee Blankinship was born July 4, 1980, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Johnny Mark and Kimberly Sue (Wulf) Blankinship.  He attended Indiahoma Elementary School, transferring to Snyder Middle School and then Lawton High School.  He and Audre Ruth Inez West-Blankinship had been companions since May 18, 2013 and was engaged to be married.  Micah was an entrepreneur of woodcutting, plumbing, small engine repairs, and a jack of all trades.  He loved the outdoors.  Micah enjoyed fishing, camping, kayaking, playing his guitar, and especially gardening; he had an exceptional green thumb.

He is survived by his fiance', Audre West-Blankinship of Blanchard, Oklahoma; his mother, Kimberly Blankinship of Chula Vista, California; two daughters, Kleya Blankinship of Valley View, Texas, and Nyla Blankinship of Valley View, Texas; one brother, Jesse Blankinship and his wife Charlee of Cache, Oklahoma; one sister, Katie Blankinship Chapman and her husband Chris of Cache, Oklahoma; four nieces, Josilyn Chapman, Karlee Chapman, Everly Blankinship, and Addison Blankinship; two nephews, Aaron Blankinship and Brian Blankinship; other family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Johnny Mark and Brenda Blankinship.

He may be viewed on Monday evening, April 12, 2021, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
