Funeral service for former Frederick resident, Nina Kay "Katie" Miller, age 57, of Lawton, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Simon Flores officiating.  Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Ms. Miller passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Nina Kay (Delgado) Miller was born November 28, 1964, to Manuel Reyes and Janie (Gonzales) Delgado.  She attended Frederick Public Schools. Katie loved to do puzzles and enjoyed adult coloring books.  There wasn't a song that she didn't love to dance too.  Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.  She was a member of the Primera Iglesia Bautista Church.

She is survived by her mother, Janie Delgado of Lawton, Oklahoma; one son, Zackary Miller of Phoenix, Arizona; three daughters, Hopi Edwards and her husband Damian of Columbus, Ohio, Melanie Miller of Tucson, Arizona, and Whitney Miller of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Sandra Hobbs of Durant, Oklahoma, Tammy Delgado of Wichita Falls, Texas, Stephanie Delgado of Lawton, Oklahoma; one aunt, Rosie Diaz and her husband Dale of Frederick, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, Jordan James, Tyshaud Edwards, Kaija Edwards, Ashanti Edwards, Damian Edwards, Mya Martinez, Aaliya Miller, Dajalie Miller, Mariana Gaytan, Ashyia Johnson, and Zackary Miller, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Delgado; one brother, Jimmy Delgado; and five aunts, Mary Barbe, Flora Rocha, Louise Garza, Chipa Flores, and Margaret Gaytian.

The family will receive friends and family on Monday evening, August 23, 2021, at the Jackson Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
