Odella Lindsey's Obituary
Funeral service for Odella Lindsey age 95, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Lindsey passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at her home in Frederick.
Odella (Hoyle) Lindsey was born November 8, 1921, in Atoka, Oklahoma to A.L. and Lucinda Ann (Patterson) Hoyle. She attended Consolidated #1 School, south of Tipton. On June 19, 1936, she and Lee Hoyt Lindsey were united in marriage at Tipton, Oklahoma. Mr. Lindsey preceded her in death on September 28, 2007. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frederick.
She is survived by one son, Donny Lindsey and his wife Jackie of Hastings, Oklahoma; one daughter, Linda Chesser and her husband Billy of Frederick, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Mike Chesser and his wife Tonya, Sharla Watson and her husband Kenneth, Jeff Lindsey and his wife Amy and Jeremy Lindsey and his wife Bethany; twelve great-grandchildren, Qualyn and Harlyn Chesser, Shane Schrick and his wife Emily, Colton Schrick, Kaitlyn Schrick, Amber Watson, Dillon Watson, T.J. Lindsey, and Caden, Addie, Cortheye and Gunner Lindsey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Holt Lindsey, five brothers, Charlie, Claude, Manuel, Clarence and Earl Hoyle; and four sisters, Mary Hoyle, Pearl Nunley, Mamie Losse and Alta Witt.
