Oscar Enriquez

Oscar Enriquez, age 76, of Davidson, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, in Burkburnett, Texas.

He was born in Laredo, Texas, to Felecitas Enriquez and raised by his mother and step-father Manuel Rodriguez. Oscar's family were migrant workers and lived in Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. He came to Davidson, Oklahoma, in 1973, and worked at the Davidson COOP as a grain elevator operator. He worked harvesting primarily wheat and cotton. He liked to mow and he enjoyed fishing. He loved listening to music with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Mario.

He is survived by his wife: Ester (Yebra) Enriquez; four children: Oscar Enriquez of Frederick, Oklahoma, Monica Overstreet and husband Allan of Burkburnett, Texas, Racquel Haston and husband Rodney of Davidson, Oklahoma, and George Enriquez of Davidson, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law: Helen Enriquez; step-sister: Dominga Rodriquez and husband Jose and family; nine grandchildren: Angel Lee Bailey, Maddox Sebastian Enriquez, Carmen Cecelia Froman and husband Timothy, Nickolas Adam Olivas and wife Amy, Armani James Haston and fiance Madison Degraffenreid, River Michael Haston and wife Kelly, Lucky Roberto Enriquez and fiance Seneca Blackwolf, George Alexander Enriquez, and Cameron Kyle Enriquez; nine great grandchildren: Asher, Evelyn, Nox, Liam, Olivia, Jett, Lavender, Lucas, Lyra; and one on the way: Catalina Froman.
