Funeral service for Parma Lou Lewis, age 109, of Davidson, Oklahoma will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick with Diane Gardner officiating. Mrs. Lewis passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at her home in Davidson. Parma Lou Brown Lewis was born on August 21, 1905 in Keene, Texas to Forrest Elmer and Simmie Nola (Wilson) Brown. She attended Davidson High School and graduated with the Class of 1925. She later attended Edmond College. On May 22, 1925, Parma was united in marriage to Lonnie Hays Lewis in Davidson, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1980. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Davidson. She is survived by three daughters-in-law, Carolyn Lewis of Davidson, Amaryllis Lewis of Iowa Park, Texas and Jennie Lou Lewis Yates of Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren, Steve Lewis and his wife Cyd, Craig Lewis and his wife Denise, Lonnie Dale Lewis, Greg Lewis, Gina McConnell and husband Steve and Gayla Nobert and her husband Kenny; fifteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Floyd Travis and Ann Atkins; special caregivers, Maria Puentes, Elena Richardson, Irene Estrada, Susie Morrison & Rachel Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Vernon Dale Lewis and Wilbert Wayne Lewis; one grand-daughter, Deborah Lonergan; five brothers, Herbert, Vernon, Lonnie, Louis and Roy Brown, and four sisters, Birdie Brown, Gladys Smith, Sue Lewis and Vesta Witherspoon.
