Obituary

Celebration of Life for former Frederick resident, Patrick Jamison Scott, age 51, of Depew, Oklahoma will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 W. Gladstone Avenue, Frederick, Oklahoma with Rev. Brent Morey officiating.  Patrick passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at his home in Depew.

Patrick Jamison Scott was born June 28, 1971, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Dianna D. (Cardwell) and Whitt Murphy, and at 14 months Merlin E. Scott became his Dad.  Patrick attended Frederick Public Schools and later served in the United States Army.  He worked as a contract welder, having worked all over the United States.  Patrick and Kelly were avid motorcycle riders who spent much of their free time traveling many states.  He loved the outdoors. Patrick loved all his family including his children, grandchildren and his dogs who were his faithful companions.

He is survived by the love of his life, Kelly Whitsell Shields of the home;  his mother and step-father, Dianna and Buddy Ebarb of Shreveport, Louisiana; his Dad and step-mother, Merlin and Jeanie Scott of Frederick, Oklahoma; one daughter, Jessica Janell White of Frederick, Oklahoma; one son, Caleb Jamison Scott of Crystal City, Missouri; two step-sons, Tucker Smith and his wife Andi of Depew, Oklahoma and Austin Smith both of Depew, Oklahoma; two step-daughters, Autumn Sago of Crystal City, Missouri and Jessica Koenig of Crystal City, Missouri; four grandchildren, Trey White, Lamara White, Alana White, and Zelda Lee Scott; four step grandchildren, Joseph Sago, Malikai Lang, Alicia Lang and Nathaniel Lang; eight step-brothers and step-sisters, Lori Ebarb, Shannon Garland, Tracy Robinson and her husband Chad, Jeffery Ebarb, Rebecca Bridges and her husband Augusta, April Mauric and her husband A.J., Melissa Meyer and her husband Eli, Tony Lajeone and his wife Lora; and a host of step-nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Annrene and Duane Cardwell, Roy S. Scott, and Georgia and Dale Curl; his uncle, Randy Cardwell, a step-sister, Brandy Ebarb, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
