Memorial service for Perry Wade Horton age 58, of rural Tipton, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2018, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Shane Kendrix officiating. A Celebration of his Life will follow at the Frederick Golf and Country Club. Mr. Horton passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at his home.
Perry Wade Horton was born October 27, 1959, in Omaha, Nebraska to Charles Joseph and Janet Alma (Hicks) Horton. He attended Manitou Public School, transferring to Frederick High School where he graduated with the Class of 1978. Perry worked as a commercial pilot for Altus Airlines and American Airlines. He later worked as an ag pilot in Tillman County as a crop duster for Abernathy Spraying Service, Inc. for many years. He was united in marriage to Lee Butler and to this union was born three children, Kristin Renae, Nicholas Wade and Lacie Rae. He later married Sandee Mathews. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frederick.
He is survived by his wife, Sandee of the home; one daughter, Kristin Archer and her husband Brian of Crescent, Oklahoma; one son, Nick Horton and his wife Nikki of Crescent, Oklahoma; one sister, Carol Griffin and her husband Sam of Chickasha, Oklahoma; two brothers, Charles Horton and his wife Jackie of Australia and John Horton of McCloud, Oklahoma; and six grandchildren, Hunter Archer, Gunner Archer. Avery Archer, Brakstin Horton, Alleigh Horton and Curly Ridge Horton;
one step-son, Rick Anders of Chatham, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lacie Horton; and his parents, Dr. Joe and Janet Horton.
