A Funeral Mass for former Corpus Christi, Texas resident, Ricardo (Richard) Gonzalez, age 66, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church in Frederick, Oklahoma, with Rev. Father Joseph David officiating. Inurnment will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Gonzalez passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his home in Frederick.

Richard was born on September 6, 1956, in Robstown, Texas, to Ruperto Lopez and Elisa (Hinojosa) Gonzalez.  He attended Tuloso Midway School in Corpus Christi, Texas. Richard worked in the restaurant industry in the Corpus Christi area his entire life.

He is survived by three sisters, Francisca Ramirez and her husband Ernesto of Marshall, Texas, Maria Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Beatrice Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, Texas; three brothers, Emilio Gonzalez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Juan Gonzalez of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Pedro Gonzalez of Frederick, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruperto and Elisa Gonzalez; one sister, Consuleo Munguia; three brothers, Ruperto Gonzalez, Jr., Enrique Gonzalez, and Felix Gonzalez; three uncles, Juan Hinojosa, Ramon Hinojose, and Pete Hinojosa; and two sisters-in-law, Maria Elena Gonzalez and Ophella Gonzalez.
