Celebration of Life for Richard Lloyd "Ric" Cooper, age 71, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at the First Baptist Church, 201 E. Grand, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Dr. Shane Kendrix officiating. Services are under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Cooper passed away at his home in Frederick.

Richard Lloyd "Ric" Cooper was born October 7, 1948, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Richard Brady and Pat (Vaughan) Cooper. He attended Clinton Public Schools, graduating from Clinton High School in 1966. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Ric worked for Frito Lay as District Sales Manager, retiring after a car accident in 1983.

Ric was founder of the "Coats for Kids", a Children's Coat Drive in Frederick and Tillman County. He served on the Southwest Juvenile Center Advisory Board; and was Co-Coordinator of the Community Blood Drive. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Frederick; and the Frederick Golf and Country Club, where he served on the board of directors. He was a former member of the Frederick Jaycees. Ric was an avid golfer. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, as well as his dogs.

He is survived by his daughter, Holly Michelle Cooper of Lawton, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Bree Airel Cooper of Lawton, Oklahoma and Noah Cooper of Frederick, Oklahoma; one brother, Dennis Cooper of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Saddie Teakell of Walters, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Leslie Conrad; two step-sons, Scott and Chad Powers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends.
