Funeral service for former Tillman county resident, Robie U. Boozer, age 93, of Arlington, Texas will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Boozer passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at a care facility in Arlington. Robie Ula (Conway) Boozer was born on January 17, 1922 in the Hackberry Flat area in Tillman County to John Trimble and Alma (Thrash) Conway. She attended school at Laing consolidated # 1 and graduated from Laing High School in 1940. On May 4, 1940, Robie was united in marriage to Leo Carter Boozer in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2000. She had volunteered for the Ladies Auxiliary at the Tillman County Memorial Hospital before moving to the Arlington area. She worked at Lifeway Book Store for 17 years and was a member of Lake Arlington Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Jimmie Leo Boozer and his wife Brenda of Arlington, Texas; six grandchildren, Michelle, Bret, Steven, Brandon, Tammy and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Amanda, Elisa, Ryan, Darian & Sebastian. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ; one son, Gary Boozer in 2006, three sisters, Doris Conway, Fern West and Ann Schmidt; five brothers, Clyde, Russell, Lloyd, Tyrrell and Paul Conway.
