Memorial Service for former Frederick resident, Roger Dale Hendrix age 64 of Altus, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 West Gladstone Avenue, Frederick, with Rev. Brent Morey officiating.  Mr. Hendrix passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, west of Snyder from the results of a motorcycle accident.

Roger was born January 3, 1960, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Jim Edward and Dorothy Nae (Taylor) Hendrix.  He attended Frederick Public Schools. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Hickingbottom, and to this union were born three children, Melissa, Adam, and Kimberly. In May of 2011 he and Mary Ann Phillips began their life together. He was a home remodeler for Kenny's Kustom Kabinets.  Roger loved the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, boating, and motorcycle riding.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Hendrix of the home; four children, Melissa Hendrix and her husband Quenton of Altus, Oklahoma, Adam Hendrix and his wife Jennifer of Davidson, Oklahoma, Kimberly Brock and her husband Christopher of Altus, Oklahoma, and Emily Palin of Tipton, Oklahoma; one step-son, Joseph Andrews and his wife Makenna of Washington, Oklahoma; one brother, Jimmy Hendrix of Crescent, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Dorothy Hendrix; and one brother, Jerry Hendrix.
