A viewing and visitation for Ronnie Ray Davis, age 71, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel.  Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Davidson Cemetery, under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.  Mr. Davis passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at his home after a lengthy illness.

Ronnie Ray Davis was born May 27, 1951, in Vernon, Texas to Doyle and Betty Jo (Hendrix) Davis.  He attended Davidson Public Schools.  He later served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict.  Ronnie was a truck driver for many years.  He was a lifelong cowboy; his horses were his life. He enjoyed sitting at the farm where it was peaceful and calm.  His grandchildren and great-grandson were his pride and joy!

He is survived by two sons, Ronnie Ray Davis, II and his wife Mary of Frederick, OK, and Brian Davis and his wife Crissy of Fort Worth, TX; one brother, Roy Davis, Ardmore, OK; four grandchildren, Lynn Davis and her husband Derric Brisendine of Lawton, OK, Cali Davis of Fort Worth, TX, Jax Davis of Fort Worth, TX and Stephen Stipkovich of El Reno, OK; and one great-grandson, Atom Chedester of Lawton, OK.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Davis;  and three sisters, Susie Perkins, Rita Smith, and Geneva Haight.
