Funeral service for Ruby Jewell Lumpkin, age 78, of Frederick will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Derrick Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Lumpkin passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma.

Ruby Jewell Lumpkin was born on October 10, 1940 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Starling Jerome and Kathrine (Johnson) Jackson. She attended Boyd High School in Frederick and was united in marriage to Donald Ray Limpkin in 1979 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was survived by her husband, Donald Ray Lumpkin; grandchildren, Gary Jackson of Frederick, Oklahoma, Starling Jackson of Frederick, Oklahoma, Krystal Smith of Frederick, Consuela Miller of Lawton, Oklahoma and Gaylynn Miller of Lawton, Oklahoma; Great-grandchildren, Avrion Jackson, Brianna Jackson, Daryress Jackson, Kalysia Jackson; a special niece, Pamela Carraway; a special nephew Raymond Wood; and a host of nieces and nephews that she raised.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sons, Gary Lynn Jackson; one brother, Dorce Lynn Collins, Sr.
