Celebration of Life for former Frederick resident, Russell Henry age 80, of Henderson, Nevada will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 W. Gladstone Ave., in Frederick, Oklahoma with Pastor David Kirby officiating.  Mr. Henry passed away on August 17, 2020, in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Russell Morris Henry was born January 26, 1940, in Vernon, Texas to Calvin and Bessie (Patton) Henry.  He attended Vernon Public Schools, graduating from Vernon High School in 1959.  In 1974, he moved to Frederick, Oklahoma where he owned and operated G & R Farm Supply.  He retired to Ruidoso, New Mexico, where he loved to play golf, fish, and to fly.  He lived proudly, laughed often, and loved his family deeply.

He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Glynda Henry of the home; his children, Greg Henry of Frederick, Oklahoma, Tara Carr of Frederick, Oklahoma and Kyly Stehr of Mangum, Oklahoma; his step-children, Jason Smith of Lubbock, Texas, Jason Moore of Tucson, Arizona, and Terry Moore, M.D. of Green Bay, Wisconsin; his  sisters, Linda Jordan of Fort Worth, Texas and Brenda Renfro of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, Ashton Neugebauer and her husband Rodney, Andrea Sheffield and her husband Charley, Dylan Carr, Kiera Stehr, Hanna Stehr, Laney Stehr, and Lacyn Stehr;  his great-grandchildren, Haley Neugebauer, Ryse Neugebauer, Rylee Neugebauer, and Willa Sheffield; and a family friend, Mike Clayton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Bessie Henry; his brothers, Reagan Henry and Raymond Henry; and a sister, Roma Handley.
