Funeral service for S. K. Robinson, Jr., age 91, of Manitou will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick with Brother Loyd Ashenfelter, Pastor of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Lawton officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Robinson passed away on Thursday morning, June 4, 2015 at his home in Manitou. S. K. Robinson, Jr. was born on January 10, 1924 in Mountain Park to Sam K. and Ada K. (McElmurry) Robinson. He attended school in Mountain Park and graduated from Mountain Park High School in 1942. He served in the United States Army in the Pacific during World War II. On April 14, 1947, he was united in marriage to Patsy June Wilder in Vernon, Texas. S. K. was employed by Caddo Electric for twelve years when the Lord called him to preach. He was presently serving as Pastor of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Blair, Oklahoma. He was a member of the D.A.V. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Robinson of the home; twelve nieces and nephews, Jean Schwap, Bobby Ray Linderer, Frank McBride, Arlena Dunbar, Winnie Faye Dunbar, Gerald Robinson, David Robinson, Kathy Franklin, Jackie Robinson, Linda Robinson, Shirley Swinford and Donnie Robinson; one sister -in-law and brother-in-law, Judy and Vince Sweat; a host of great-nieces and nephews, several cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Dorothy Linderer, Betty Lou Robinson, Effie McBride, Reba Hollis and Mary Watson; and two brothers, Ray & Jack Robinson.
