Graveside service for Sharon D. Sisson age 68, of Duncan, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2019, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Miss Sisson passed away Monday, April 1, 2019, at a Wichita Falls, Texas hospital.

Sharon Dorinda Sisson was born February 24, 1951, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Thomas Carl "Pete" and Dora Samantha "Tine" (Keith) Sisson. She attended Davidson Public Schools, graduating from Davidson High School in 1969. Sharon's family and friends were a vital part of her life; she always kept in touch through Facebook. She enjoyed playing the guitar, and in the 70's she had her own band. She was an avid Thunder Fan.

She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Carlis and Carolyn Sisson of North Richland Hills, Texas; a sister-in-law, Sue Sisson of Waurika, Oklahoma; seven nieces and nephews, Carl Sisson, Darrell Sisson, Gene Sisson, Jerry Sisson, Nancy Spain, Jackie Richardson and Marla Lovett; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Tine Sisson; and two brothers, Stubby Sisson and David Sisson.

A memorial contribution may be made to the Burkhardt Cemetery Trust in memory of Sharon D. Sisson.

She may be viewed on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Frederick.
