Funeral service for Sheryl Woodean Tomlinson age 71, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Kay El Kouri officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Tomlinson passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019, at her daughters' home in Norman, Oklahoma.

Sheryl Woodean (Kouri) Tomlinson was born March 17, 1948, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Woodrow David and Anna Lou (Hudspeth) Kouri. She attended Frederick Public Schools. On February 2, 1965, she and Richard Harold Tomlinson were united in marriage in Frederick, Oklahoma. Sheryl worked for the Tillman County Assessor's Office in Frederick for 19 years. She was a member of the Lighthouse Chapel. Sheryl was a strong willed and loving individual, who wanted the best for her family. Her family was her pride and joy!

She is survived by one daughter, Connie Flores and her husband Zeke of Norman, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Travis Flores and his companion, Bonnie Davis of Moore, Oklahoma, Kouri Flores of Norman, Oklahoma, Chris Flores of Moore, Oklahoma, and Carissa Kimes and her husband J.R. of Norman, Oklahoma; eleven great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew, Tammy Feemster of Wylie, Texas and David McIninch of Irving, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Richard Harold Tomlinson; one daughter, Angie Crosswhite; and one sister, Helen Barnard.

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday evening, September 24, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Jackson Funeral Home in Frederick.
