Funeral service for Shirlene LaRae Carter, age 49, of Cache, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Cache Christian Church with Rev. John Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Cache Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Ms. Carter passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 in a Lawton hospital.

Shirlene LaRae "Booger" Carter was born on April 12, 1969 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Kenneth Raymond and Shirley Jean (Risinger) Lockhart. She attended Cache Public Schools and graduated from Cache High School in 1987. She was a member of the Cache Christian Church.

She is survived by her father, Ken Lockhart of Cache; two daughters, Jessica Ballou and her husband Casey of Cache and Lindsey Carter of Cache; one son, Quinton Addy of Cache; one sister, Carol Carter of Cache; two grandchildren, Adrian and Andre Goodson, both of Cache; five nieces and nephews, Carla Kinman and her husband Jeremy, Cinnamon Carter, Taylor Carter, Ryan Carter and Summer Downs and her husband Mike; seven great nieces and nephew, Cayleigh, Cambree and Jaxon Kinman, Jayden and Cooper Crosby, Mia and Z Downs; two aunts, Claudine Hill and Leona Turner of Cache; a host of cousins, other family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Lockhart; her grandparents, Claude and Willis Risinger and Orville and Ruby Lockhart.

Visitation will be on Monday evening, January 21, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Cache Christian Church.
