Graveside service for Shirley Jean Franks, age 59, of Electra, Texas will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Grandfield Cemetery with Rev. Joe Reyes officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Miss Franks passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in the Electra Care Center.

Shirley Jean Franks was born on January 18, 1957 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Samuel Harrel and Helen Frances (Davis) Franks. She attended school in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She was a Goods Processor for many years for Goodwill, Inc. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Davidson.

She is survived by two brothers, Harrel Franks and his wife Sandy of Houston, Texas and Sammy Franks and fiancé Cindy Hayes of Davidson, Oklahoma; three sisters, Dena Watts and her husband Russ of Baxter, Tennessee, Lisa Inscore and her husband Allen of Davidson and Karla Monson and her husband Mark of Davidson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam & Frances Franks; and one brother, Clyde Franks.
