Requiem Mass for Sista Soto Rocha, age 92, of Frederick will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2016 at St. Helen Catholic Church with Father Cristobal De Loera officiating.  Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.  Mrs. Rocha passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in a Lawton hospital.

Sista Soto Rocha was born on March 29, 1923 in Bonham, Texas to Rasario and Juanita (Caballero) Soto.   She attended school in Bonham.  On October 14, 1939, she was united in marriage to Pedro Rocha in Plainview, Texas.  He preceded her in death on March 2, 1988.  She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.

She is survived by one son, Lupe Rocha of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter, Trindad Ibarra of Frederick; two brothers, Silverado and Natcho Soto; two sisters, Cande Garza and Benita Soto; twenty-six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and four sons, Mateo, Pete, Jr., Richard and Cruz Rocha.
