Funeral service for Terri Lee Brown, age 67, of Tipton, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mrs. Brown passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Terri Lee (Alexander) Brown was born on December 21, 1956, to Addison Ray "Buddy" and Treva Lee (Marshall) Alexander in Reno, Nevada. She graduated from Tipton Public Schools; however, while her father was in the service, she also attended schools in Laredo, Texas; Berlin, Germany; Port Angeles, Washington; and Mississippi. After graduating from high school with the Class of 1975, she attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University obtaining her business certificate.  She was united in marriage to Dale Brown on April 2, 1977, at the Church of Christ in Tipton, Oklahoma.

Terri began her bookkeeping career in Frederick in 1976, working at Frederick Implement, and she retired in 2022, following income tax season, after having worked for the Marilyn Kroll CPA firm.  In the interim, she also worked with Joe Briscoe, CPA, Mike and Phil Ellis, CPA, and Wilmes Ford House in Altus.  She loved spending time with her family, along with boating, fishing, and going camping.  Her main priority was her family. She was self-less and saw the good in everyone.  She loved, loved, loved all her children, and grandchildren.   She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Terri is survived by her husband, Dale Brown of the home; one son, Jeffery Dale Brown of Tipton, Oklahoma; one daughter, Jennifer Wolfe and her husband Mike of Vernon, Texas; one brother, John Alexander and his wife Karen of Gallup, New Mexico; six grandchildren, Bryce Coronado, Jamie Neilson, Colten Wolfe, Adrieonna Rowlings, Nelson Wolfe and Graicyn Wolfe; and seven great-grandchildren, Harper, Kenleigh, Casen, Gaven, Lincoln, Whitley, and Stevie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Treva Alexander; mother-in-law, Betty Brown; father-in-law, Robert Brown; and niece, Carrie Lenard.
