Graveside service for Thomas C. Adams, age 73, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with burial to follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Adams passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at English Village Manor in Altus, Oklahoma.

Thomas Camillus Adams was born on January 5, 1946, in Gadsden, Alabama to William Thomas and Ola (Smiley) Adams. He attended Gadsden Public School. He received a GED and later attended Massey Business College in Georgia. Thomas served in the United States Navy for seven years and served two tours in Vietnam. He was an aircraft mechanic.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas Shane Adams of Fairborn, Ohio, John Thomas Adams of Lyerly, Georgia and Joseph Richardson Adams of Lyerly, Georgia; one daughter, Lee Ann Adams Johnson of Gadsden, Alabama; one sister, Martha Adams Tucker and her husband Jerry of Frederick, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Grant Adams of Fairborn, Ohio and Sean Adams of South Korea; and two special friends, Beulah Riddlespurge of Gadsden, Alabama and Minnie Smith of Menlo, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Ola Adams.
