Funeral service for former Frederick resident Timothy Scot Wilson age 65, of Yukon, Oklahoma will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 W. Gladstone Ave., Frederick, Oklahoma with Rev. Derek McMurtry, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Chattanooga officiating.  Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mr. Wilson passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Timothy Scot Wilson was born October 12, 1955, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Milton Lloyd and Margaret Sue (Ward) Wilson.  He attended Frederick Public Schools, graduating from Frederick High School in 1973.  He later attended Cameron University in Lawton.  He worked at Kellwood Company in Clinton prior to moving to Oklahoma City to start his family.  He welcomed his only daughter, Kendi on September 7, 1978.  He was later employed for Bridgestone-Firestone as a tire builder for 30 years; retiring on December 22, 2006.  Tim loved to tinker on old radios and loved to restore antique tombstone radios. He was a gun enthusiast, a mechanic, and could fix almost anything.  He enjoyed old movies, especially John Wayne and loved to watch the Military and History Channels.  He was a Baptist.

He is survived by one daughter, Kendi Starr and her fiancé Brian Garfield of Yukon, Oklahoma; one grandson, Connor Smith and his fiancé Jennifer Whittington of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, David Mark Wilson and his wife Martha of Fletcher, Oklahoma; and his nieces and nephew, Stephanie Schell, Adam Sanders, Heather Wilson, and Dana Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Margaret Wilson.

The family will receive friends and family on Monday evening, April 5, 2021, from 5 – 7 p.m., at the Jackson Funeral Home in Frederick.
