Celebration of Life for former Frederick resident, Tommie Jack Hammond age 59, of Wichita Falls, Texas, will be held at a later date.  Burial was on Monday, November 23, 2020, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick, Oklahoma.  Mr. Hammond passed away Friday, November 20, 2020, at the Courtyard Gardens in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Tommie Jack Hammond was born May 11, 1961, in Smithville, Missouri to Jack Dale and Retha Lila (Lee) Hammond.  He attended Frederick Public Schools.  Tommie worked for Harris Plumbing in Margate, Florida for many years.  In 1992, he and Melea Cummings were united in marriage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  She preceded him in death on July 28, 2006.  He later moved to Wichita Falls, Texas to be closer to family.

He is survived by two daughters, Nicole Hammond of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Brandi Hammond Glover of Duncan, Oklahoma; one son, Thomas Gregory Hammond of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sisters, Tonya Coss and her husband Daniel of Spotsylvania, Virginia, and Teresa Mathews and her husband Randy of Browns Summit, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Retha Hammond; his grandparents, Tommie and Lula Bloodworth; one brother, Timmy Hamond; and one sister, Tina Dale.
