Treva June Drummond's Obituary
Graveside Service for Treva June Drummond, age 88, of Cache, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Cache Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Rettig officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Drummond passed away on Wednesday evening, November 14, 2018 in a Lawton care facility.
Treva June (Ulrich) Drummond was born on July 4, 1930, in Cache, Oklahoma to Guy E. and Janie E. (Pittman) Ulrich. She attended Cache Public School and graduated from Cache High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to Edwin Earl Drummond on July 20, 1950 in Cache, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2017. After she and Edwin were married, they lived in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge for over 60 years. After his retirement they returned to Cache in 2009. Treva was a member of the Cache First United Methodist Church where she taught Pre-School Sunday school class for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, quilting, reading and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by one daughter, Vickie Drummond of Durant, Oklahoma; one son, Eddie Drummond of Cache, Oklahoma; one grandson, Jeremy White and his wife Yana of McKinney, Texas; nieces and nephews, Annette Ulrich, Reford and Susan Ulrich, Raford and Debbie Ulrich, Randy Ulrich, Nancy and David Armes and Sue and Tommy Blanton; and an honorary grandson, Flint Runyan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Janie Ulrich; her husband, Edwin Drummond; three brothers, Rexel Ulrich, Lee Vern Ulrich and his wife Ruby and Reford Ulrich; and two sisters, Nyla Jean Goodin and her husband Don and Rita Mae Ulrich.
Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Treva Drummond to the Cache First United Methodist Church.
