Funeral service for Virginia Marie Coleman, age 76, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Shane Funkhouser officiating.  Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mrs. Coleman passed away on Friday morning, January 1, 2021, at her home in Frederick.

Virginia Marie (Grant) Coleman was born on November 7, 1944, in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Eli Walter "E.W." and Gladys Marie (Sullivan) Grant.  She attended Grandfield and Frederick Public Schools.  On September 1, 1961, she and Elmer Richard Whittle were united in marriage in Frederick, Oklahoma.  She later was married to Ed Coleman in Nocona, Texas.  She attended the Territory Cowboy Church west of Frederick.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Renee Bradley and her husband Ronnie of Frederick, Oklahoma; five step children, Virgil Coleman and wife DeDe of Frederick, Oklahoma, Ricky Peoples of Lawton, Oklahoma, Edward Coleman, Jr. of Lawton, Oklahoma, Larry Coleman of Wilson, Oklahoma, and Jeannie Burba of Wilson, Oklahoma; one sister, Reta Kay Martin of Virginia; three grandchildren, Blake Fairchild and wife Bree, Brandon Fairchild and fiancé Jessica Burnette, and Jessica Easter; four great-grandchildren, Lily Fairchild, Willow Fairchild, A.J. Easter, and Jordan Easter; and six nieces and nephews, Stephanie Radford, Stacie Washburn, Christopher Martin, Brian Grant, Kerri Blevins, and Mendy Holaway.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E.W. and Gladys Grant; her husband Ed Coleman; one great-grandson, Lane Fairchild; and her siblings, Doris, James, Leslie, Lester, & Richard.
