Mrs. Perry passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her home in Indiahoma. Virginia Lee McKinney Perry was born on April 7, 1924 southwest of Hollister, Oklahoma to Alexander Vernon and Dolly Mae (McCurdy) McKinney. She attended school in Hollister and graduated from Hollister High School in 1942. She then went to Central State Teacher's College in Edmond and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Virginia was united in marriage to Kenneth Max Perry on November 15, 1945 in Vernon, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2003. Virginia was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Indiahoma where she served as historian, record keeper and longtime Good News Sunday School Class teacher. She was also active in Women's Circle and was in charge of the Card Ministry for the church. She is survived by one son, Daryl Perry and his wife Sydney of Indiahoma; one daughter, Lee Ann Moeller and her husband Roy of Edmond; grandchildren, Mari Walker and her husband Dr. Shawn Walker, Elizabeth Perry, Micah Moeller and his wife Abby and Matthew Moeller and his fiancé Jennifer Kushnerick; great-grandchildren, Owen Max Perry, Maelee Moeller, Jane Walker and Evelyn Moeller due to arrive any day.
