Memorial Service for Walter Hill, Jr., age 56, of Tipton, Oklahoma, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Tipton.  Mr. Hill passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, at the Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Walter Hill, Jr. was born September 19, 1966, in Clinton, Oklahoma to Walter and Helen Ruth (Jones) Hill.  He attended Tipton Public School, graduating from Tipton High School.  He worked for Aviall in Frederick for several years, prior to working as a forklift operator for Halliburton.  He was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Tipton.  Walter loved the outdoors; he enjoyed fishing, watching movies, and any type of sports.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Hill of Dallas, Texas; three sons, Joshua Hill of Tipton, Oklahoma, Christian Hill, and Izayah Hill, both of The Colony, Texas;  one daughter, Christina Hill of Las Vegas, Nevada; four brothers, Edward Hill of Dallas, Texas, Steven Hill and his wife Stephanie of Pilot Point, Texas, Craig Hill and his wife Tyann of Tipton, Oklahoma, and Robert Hill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Hill, Sr.; and one brother, James Hill.
